Medal of Honor Display
The City of Cortez will have the honor of displaying the Everett Alvarez Jr. Medal of Honor Display for our surrounding communities to have the chance to pay their respects. Thanks to several local businesses, veterans and community sponsors.
The Medal of Honor Display will be set up at the corner of Main and Ash Streets starting on Friday, August 29th through Sunday August 31st. The Medal of Honor Drill Team will be performing demonstrations at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day. Local vendors will be set up at the same location. Bring the family to town for the day, shop, eat and then come by and see this beautiful display we are so fortunate to have here in our community.
